Right now you don't have to do anything, Andrea. I've looked through all
the archives (zip and tar) in this thread, merged them with the templates,
compared them with the existing translations, and in those cases where
you've modified strings thus improving the translations (archive_mail,
abook_import_export, html_mail, calendar) I've updated your versions.

What's left for me to go through is "squirrelmail.po" and then I'll commit
it as well. After that I'll make sure that your work is visible in 1.4.18
too, and write back to this thread with the outcome of the entire
operation.

I came to the same conclusion after comparing the various versions you
sent. Thank you for your work, and sorry for the confusion I caused. If
you have the option, please save as UTF-8 without BOM in your future work.

As you can see [1] there's still one fuzzy string. Is that translation
correct? Can I remove the fuzzy marker? As for the plugins, you can check
their statistics [2] too if you want to translate more.

I attach (I hope the zip is ok...) tha last version of files that's have
fuzzy / untraslated strings in /squirrel and /plugin.
All are now at 100% excluding gpg.po that needs a lot of work.

Thanks for the stat page, it's very useful and update whit latest POT
(that's why you had the fuzzy string on squirrel.po)

So you don't want to translated "messages" as "messaggi" and keep the
current translation "lasciata"?

The string "Leaving messages on server..." was changed from the previous
"Leaving mail on server...", which probably happened after you started
your translation thus not showing in the file you mailed in earlier in

What tool did you use to compare the strings in the files?  As I
understand, Andrea has only modified strings in squirrelmail.po.

I used "msgmerge" and "msgfmt", which showed that not only
"squirrelmail.po" was modified.

Try something like this:

msgfmt -cvo /dev/null --statistics old_squirrelmail.po
msgfmt -cvo /dev/null --statistics new_squirrelamil.po
msgmerge -vo old_squirrelmail_merged.po old_squirrelmail.po template.po
msgmerge -vo new_squirrelmail_merged.po new_squirrelmail.po template.po
diff -u old_squirrelmail_merged.po new_squirrelmail_merged.po
msgfmt -cvo /dev/null --statistics old_squirrelmail_merged.po
msgfmt -cvo /dev/null --statistics new_squirrelamil_merged.po

I also use "vimdiff" a lot when working with translations.

Thank you for your contribution, Andrea. I've committed the translations
(they will show up in the statistics in about 15 minutes).

I take it you have two mail accounts ("Andrea Volani"
<andrea.volani@...> and "Andrea Volani" <andreavola@...>).
The one at Gmail is what's documented in SquirrelMail, so if you send in
updates later on it's best to send them from "Andrea Volani"
<andreavola@...> to avoid confusion.
