Usability feedbackHi,
Celeste Lyn Paul (seele) told me that the KOffice team would appreciate some usability feedback. I have a professional background in usability plus some experience in KDE usability (I wrote some of the KDE usability guidelines and patterns and I am currently working with Amarok) and would be glad to work with the team. So what should I have a look at? Regards, Thomas _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel |

We really need someone with your abilities. I'll let the core developers suggest you the most important course of action, I just wanted to welcome you to the team. Carlos PS: I might request your help with my proposed workflow for Kivio, should be in a couple of months, though. _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel |

Re: Usability feedbackHello !

Yes definitively. > I have a professional background in usability plus some experience in KDE > usability (I wrote some of the KDE usability guidelines and patterns and I > am currently working with Amarok) and would be glad to work with the team. Cool, welcome on board. > So what should I have a look at? I suppose the first step would be to run and play with koffice application. Then, well I suppose since you are the expert (and not us), and it will depends a lot on what you want to work on, but maybe you can help us to focus on what you think are the biggest problem. And what we lack, in term of vision, use cases, etc... Also our wiki countains some pages related to usuability: http://wiki.koffice.org/index.php?title=Libs/Brainstorming/Toolbox http://wiki.koffice.org/index.php?title=Guidelines http://wiki.koffice.org/index.php?title=Dockers_Guidelines http://wiki.koffice.org/index.php?title=Meetings/November_2008_meeting/Decisions There was also the kivio usability survey: http://wiki.openusability.org/kivio/index.php/Main_Page -- Cyrille Berger _______________________________________________ koffice-devel mailing list koffice-devel@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/koffice-devel |
