Use of debian/tmp in install files

Hi,

Possibly a dumb question.  But has debhelper 7 changed to put assume
debian/tmp on the front of paths in the .install files?  For my backport
of 2.4 to Hardy (et al) I had to put debian/tmp in explicitly.

Regards,
Cambell

Yes, that's a debhelper 7 feature. I didn't removed debian/tmp from all
paths yet, as it's backwards compatible.

See manpage of "debhelper", chapter "Debhelper compatibility levels"
