I rarely use my Nikkor 300/4 AFS. Today a pesky gopher was in my yard and I figured I would give it a try and was very pleasantly surprised. It is very sharp even wide open. I will post the results.

Imagine a gopher dying of lead poisoning, I think I scared him away already, imagine taking all my prize winning shots of him and then realizing that there wasno ard in my D300, yikes

I remember when I was small our family went on a vacation and my dad became suspicious when he got to 40 on a roll of 36 with his AE-1. Pretty funny later but not at the time.

How'd he get 40 frames? Our vacation snaps were all made with a Kodak
Hawkeye II Instamatic 126 format rig. Remember those small square prints?  Maybe
I'll take my Hawkeye out for a spin today...
