Hello, that project
https://sourceforge.net/projects/opensigma/can be interested by the developers of drivers for Sigma chipset. It is alpha and avalable only via svn yet.
So I have question about support of encoder ADV7175 in DXR3 card. There is i2c-driver in linux-kernel. It is sharpen for zoran PCI-boards and lacks of many features. :( The driver for the same ADV7175 in DXR3 project are more functional but it hasnt some things like Closed Captioning support, Macrovision and may be somth. else.
I gonna implement support of NetStream2000 cards which are boarded with ADV7170/ADV7175/ADV7177 chipset. So I have to choose between writing new i2c-driver (the third :)) or modify existing. What do u think about modifying kernel-drivers to make it more universal for using in sigma-related projects?
Best wishes
