Using NetBeans Profiler (not a Maven profile)

Hello

There is no support for the NetBeans Profiler for Maven projects  :(

I've just voted for the following issues in netbeans issue tracking system:

http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=118322

but there are only 4, 1 and 3 votes   :(

Shouldn't we all vote for these issues?

things should change for 6.5 a bit. The profiling for "jar" packaging
in maven is in the works. However it would be nice if people add their
votes along with the comment on what packaging they want the profiler
to work with.

On a general note, "Attach profiler" to an external process works even now.
