Thank you again Peter for your demo of Sakai 3 yesterday.
Peter may be offering a second opportunity to demo Sakai 3 for those
who could not attend -- stay tuned!
I have put some very rough notes from yesterday's meeting on
Confluence:
http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/confluence/x/X4DhAgFeel free to correct or add to these notes.
IMO, the most important take-away from yesterday's meeting is where to
make suggestions for Sakai 3.
Here is the vignette page on confluence:
http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/UX/Potential+Vignette+Use+Cases(chunks of Sakai ability or content - widgets, gadgets, abilities, etc.)
There's also near daily conference calls about Sakai 3:
http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/UX/UX+Working+Group-------------
Finally, I would like to suggest another Using Sakai conference call,
perhaps next month?
We could meet either on a Tuesday or Wednesday (maybe Tues since the
last call was a Wed).
And to keep with our theme of having folks demo something, is someone
willing to volunteer?
Some ideas from last fall were: training courses for faculty or
students, Berkeley's custom help tool, CANS, etc.
Really it can be anything that you want to share and maybe get some
feedback on that has to do with using Sakai.
Thanks all,
Steve
