VM sysctl tuning

Does any know if there is any advantage to tuning sysctl's for the VM
when one has an insane amount of memory in their machine?

We've a system with 16GB of RAM that we are attempting to optimize the
system's memory copy and disk write performance.

Please note the difference between 7.2 and all the previous releases.

"FreeBSD 7.2+ has improved kernel memory allocation strategy and no tuning
may be necessary on systems with more than 2 GB of RAM. "


Also wort play a bit with kern.maxvnodes as the document says.
