ACCESS Assessor. Hereward College.
£27,967 - £30,405 p.a. (scales A35 – A38) pro rata for 3 days per week.
The ACCESS Centre is looking for an Assessor to join our growing Centre and to undertake Assessment of Needs with a diverse range of disabled students in Higher Education.
You must have a degree (or equivalent professional experience) with strong IT skills and ideally an up-to-date working knowledge of a wide range of assistive technologies. An ability to respond sensitively and appropriately to the needs of students with a disability or learning difficulty, excellent organisational, communication and report writing skills are essential. Experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage. Ideally, you must have experience of undertaking DSA needs assessments and be able to respond positively to change and work flexibly in a busy small team.
You will be required to work in Coventry and at other locations usually within the West Midlands.
