Vacuum Tube Simulation?

Hi all,
I'm interested in tube simulation, particularly in the context of
guitar playing -- I'm a guitar player. I've seen lots of great papers
by David Yeh (check his website) and I feel like I have a good handle
on simulating a triode stage. I'm interested to hear what other
methods people have found useful for this, though.

Now, I haven't seen any papers on simulating the power amp stage,
which is a bit different because there's an extra port on each tube to
worry about, and particularly because of the interaction with the
transformer. Has anybody seen any papers, or does anybody have
suggestions on where to start with this?

Aaron

Leonardo Di Carlo, someone on this list, has been into pspice modelling.
Check out his page: http://www.fuzone.it/pspice_model.htm

In addition, Bogac Topaktas has submitted this bibliography, including
web pointers, 18 months ago:

Thanks Pascal! I forgot that post..

The most comprehensive (and widely unknown) resource of information on
modeling and simulation of tube amplifiers is Eric K. Pritchard's Patents:

USpat# 4,809,336; 4,995,084; 5,133,014;
5,434,536; 5,636,284; 5,734,725; 5,761,316; 5,761,317; 5,802,182;
5,805,713; 5,848,165; 6,057,737; 6,411,720; and 6,631,195.
(all available online at www.uspto.gov )

In your particular case (power stage/output transformer/loudspeaker
interaction), key information is contained in #4,809,336; 4,995,084 (the
best); 5,133,014; 5,434,536; 5,636,284; 5,761,316; and 5,805,713.

In addition to the above, the following patents contain key information on
simulating the power supply sag: #5,635,872 and #5,909,145.

Hi
I'm doing som e research on a electrical engennering institute and I'm
working on the subeject of tube emulations..  we can exchange
materials if you like...

I have some papers here:
do you intend to develop anything?

we can be parterns
I can send you some papers...
I`m also a guitar player as well as a scietist here in brazil
