Hi all,
Im looking for variations on the standard design for polls or
quizzes.
Typically, one selects one of two to four options (usually radio
buttons), clicks Vote or Submit, and sees how others voted, often
in the form of a bar chart.
Im particularly interested in designs that keep the user in a flow
of answering questions, maybe using a game-like format. Im thinking
of the iLike (www.ilike.com) design that Stephen Anderson discussed
during his Seductive Interactions talk at IDEA09. iLike offers a
music challenge that plays a song and asks you to identify the
artist, song title, etc. from four options. Youre on a timer and are
awarded points based on how quickly you answer. Based on your point
tally, you can improve your challenge rank.
Any other creative variations youve come across?
Jeff
