Hi

I am very interested by the new view plugin in my company. I have waited for this plugin for a long time.
Now it is released with 1.11 sonar version but it is a commercial plugin.
Ok nice it asked a lot of works.
The price is 1800 euros / year. Even if I am very interested by this new fonctionnality I can not afford it. How to prove to my boss that we will have a positive ROI with a such plugin??? It is nice to be able to manage quality by project groups but it is not a priority for lot of company...
My company is a small company and 1800 euros / year is too expensive.
You could offer a limited distribution that allow the creation of a limited number of project groups in order to attract small software companies.

I have the same feeling.
I'm very interested also with the view plugin and I worked for a large
compagny (where a view plugin is very interesting) and honestly I can't
prove the benefits of an investment of 1800 euros / year in a such view
plugin. As Fabrice said, an enterprise can buy something only if it they
think they will have an positive ROI and I don't think you can have a
positive ROI with a such plugin with this price.

I don't understand why you choose this model of pricing :
x euros / year?
Generally the pricing is more x euros one time and 20 (or x) % / year if
you want to keep the last version and have some support (like Atlassian
for instance).
