The component sets are different between "Basic" and "Standard" and you cannot inline a style with some of the basic components as you can with the standard set.

In order to override the Basic Text Area component, you need to overwrite the CSS style with
the class in the stylesheet.css file, e.g.

.TxtAra_sun4{
font-family: 'Courier New',Courier,monospace;
font-size: 14px;}

i'm an experienced j2se developper and now i'm moving to the world of web and j2ee.
i've been exploring the new nb6 and especially the JSF palette of VWP module.

i've noticed that the TextArea JSF component in the basic section of the palette does not render correctly the "courier new", monospaces font.
On the other hand, it renders correctly with the TextArea component fom the stardard sectionof the palette!

I need to have this font applied in the TextArea in order to align rows of data in straight column, since each character in the "courier new" font takes the same space.

Is this is a bug or am i missing something here?

Using the netbeans when I create a Visual Web Project, have the three perspectives [jsp][java][design].

If put a text field on the center, do this creates a component on Java Perspective.

But I need to convert the .getText().toString() to return an String.

How can I bind a domain object with a component like text field.
And never convert to int, double.

And how can I populate a table using a list?
Can I use another implementation of jsf(like tomahawk) on netbeans?

This Delete section describes how to delete a row using DataProviders.
When you drag and drop a database table, a CachedRowSetDataProvider is created.

The instance name of the CachedRowSetDataProvider, view the Outline and expand the Page node.
There will be a node name something like tripDataProvider (if trip is the table name)

The example in the tutorial above, the code is in the action handler for a JavaServer Faces button component.

In the code below, tableRowGroup1 is an instance of TableRowGroup that is a Component that represents a group of table rows.

Maybe I don't quite understand the principles behind the programming style used in Visual Web.

One example: I would like to delet a row in a table.
In SQL this would look like: "DELETE FROM ismember WHERE iduser = ? and idgroup = ?"
How can I do this in Visual Web?

I couldn't set mnemonic on "Background image selection button" and "Color editor" buttons because their text don't have
any alphabetic characters. Also, I didn't fix the "Doesn't implement Accessible" errors because (per Winston) those
errors are coming from Swing and we have no control over it.

It looks like a java/source bug and needs to be fixed in that module. Deva will create a simpler test case and file a
new bug against java/source and make this bug dependent on that one. I will attach a zip file containing two classes
named "EchoMethodClient" but two different package names: "ejb.pack_one.echomethod" and "ejb.pack_two.echomethod".

The problem seems to be specific to WebLogic, but independent of OS. Updated the summary accordingly.

Until I investigate, can't say whether the problem lies in databinding or server plugin. Should fix for 6.0.

There does appear to be a problem here. Oracle does a number of non-standard things with dates, so a fix may involve
new code. Until I dig into it, I can't say whether we can do it for 6.0.

That's not it.. I downloaded and installed 07160000... and standard components on a 1.4 project

Could it be as a result of removing JSF 1.1 libraries from the build system. I think Chau did this change
recently. During design time, I think we rely on JSF 1.2, so it may or may not be related.

Yes, it's a regression from 5.5 and 5.5.1.. you can successfully drag and drop an image
on a page fragment from the file system.

The problem seems to be that there are no boxes in the structure which correspond to the span element which represents
the checkbox, there are only boxes corresponding to the inner elements (input label) present.
It is the current architecture which omits boxes for span elements (when inline).

Now, I can reproduce this sometimes.
- I open 3 projects
- connect to the relevant connections
- open pages from the non-main projects first

Result - get Component Error page

Clicking Continue resolves the error / restores the bindings to the rowsets

Passing to insync, the NoClassDefFoundError breaks the model and the designer can't work in that case. The NPE from the
designer seems to be consequence only.
