Voicemail Advanced option

I can't seem to get any access to option 3 Advanced options on the list of voice mail options. Is this normal? Can't the voicemail module be updated...as I would like to use the callout option on it.

You'll need to take a look in the asterisk logs or connect a session
with debugging turned up. (asterisk -rvvvv or similar).

That should tell you where things are going wrong, and maybe someone
here can help you resolve it if you post the logs (if it isn't obvious
from the logged info). Might help to know what distro and asterisk you
are using too.

You have to configure the context in which the call dialed out from VM to belong.

Check your voicemail.conf for the following entry:

dialout=from-vm ; Context to dial out from [option 4 from the advanced menu]
                        ;     if not listed, dialing out will not be permitted

Use your context of choice instead of "from-vm".
