WADI project status?Hi,
I am evaluating WADI for use in clustering Jetty (running embedded in our application). I am curious as to the status of the project, since there does not appear to be any activity on the wadi mailing lists (but there is some on the geronimo mailing lists). I can see there has been recent activity with a 2.1.1 release, but there are no release notes and 2.1.1 does not exist in JIRA. Has the project/activity moved somewhere else? (is it now being driven from Geronimo?) Where is the best place to ask general questions, find out release info, log suggestions / bug reports etc. Is there a roadmap for WADI, or is it now in a maintenance-only mode? Thanks, Ross |

Re: WADI project status?Hi Ross,
I have skipped governance aspects (e.g. release note, issue tracking) as there was no real need for them. The project is being developed @ codehaus and has been mainly driven by the need to provide a clustering solution for Geronimo. Web-clustering functionalities are implemented and no functional improvements are contemplated. If you would like specific improvement requests to be implemented, then please post here and I endeavor to implement them. If you have any specific questions about the set-up of WADI with Jetty, simply tell me your Jetty version number and how you are booting your embedded Jetty server and I will provide code/assistance. Re: WADI project status?Hi Gianny,
Thanks for the prompt response. We are currently using Jetty 6.1.15 (we can probably move to Jetty 7 if needed), and JGroups 2.6.x (though we are planning to migrate to 2.8 soon). I have located the jetty adapter code in the jetty contrib repository (http://svn.codehaus.org/jetty-contrib/trunk/jetty-wadi-session-manager/). I am assuming this is the latest code - it seems to match the latest Jetty 7 code. I expect we might strike some version incompatibility issues, but I am confortable to dig into the code. If I hit problems when I start investigating/using it (probably in the next few months) I would certainly appreciate any assistance you are able to provide. Thanks, Ross

Re: WADI project status?Hi Ross,
http://svn.codehaus.org/jetty-contrib/trunk/jetty-wadi-session- manager/ is indeed the latest code. This code has not been touched for a while now and still uses WADI 2.0. I will refresh it to upgrade to the latest version of WADI in the next couple of days. If you have any troubles, please feel free to ping me.
