Hi Marko,
That is the whole reason to reconcile the account on a regular basis.
Depending on the account type, the online and local balance will often
not be the same, such as if you enter a check in KMM but it has not yet
been cleared by your bank. I reconcile my accounts each time I receive
a statement, and I have caught (and been able to fix) a number of
problems of this type.
