Warnings in James.log

Hi everyone,

I started viewing, below Warnings in the james.log.

<Snip>

The specified postmaster address ( root@localhost ) is not a local
address.  This is not necessarily a problem, but it does mean that
emails addressed to the postmaster will be routed to another server.
For some configurations this may cause problems.

</Snip>

Code in the config.xml says, it may affect during startup. I would like
to understand what this warning message mean ? Could some one point me
to a document ?

Regards,
Karthik

That means the configured postmaster address is not configured. So
maybe localhost is not listed in the servernames or the user root not
exists.

Bye
