Web portal authentication

Hi,

UVOS supports the Web Portal Authentication (SAML 2 Profile as described
here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAML_2.0#SP_POST_Request.3B_IdP_POST_Response).

There the resource answers with an XHTML Form. Does UNICORE support such
kind of answering to an UNICORE service call? If yes, any hints where
how to configure this?

Thanks,
André

No it doesn't. You can use it e.g. in a portal to authenticate users
with a web browser (so it is inherently interactive). There is an
implementation of this for Tomcat server available (UNICORE SVN:
uvos/uvos-tomcat-auth).

In UNICORE there is only one authentication possibility: TLS/SSLv3 auth.

Best regards
Krzysztof
