WebDav and versioning

I have just installed nuxeo 5.2 (whatever the latest download is) with webdav.

When a file is 'replaced' using the webdav connector, should a new version of the file be created?

We are seeing that is it not.  Use case:

- Drag file into web dav folder
- view it is created in the browser interface
- modify file locally
- drag file into web dav folder
- click yes to replace
- view in browser interface
  - no history
  - same version number (1.0)

The Nuxeo WebDAV connector doesn't implement versioning.
What you described is an interesting use case, but nobody has implemented it yet.
