Hello!

Since today i thought it is normal that the DNS expand records like:
system IN MX 10 mail

to

system.domain IN MX 10 mail.domain

AND leave records like

system.domain IN MX 10 mail.

as they are cause of the . at the end.

Now when i want to switch to powerdns i've to change all my records
cause they work with this scheme. Is there any way to get back old
behaviour like in bind or mydns?

Thanks,
Stefan

I had the same problem, ended up having to remove all my periods and now everything works but still annoying ;-)
