What do I really need to know for load balancing in 1.2?

Is this all that I need to know?:

This page on OpenSSI.org says:

Once the machines are up loadleveling can be started using the
"loadlevel -a on" command to turn loadleveling on for all nodes
in the cluster.

And on Introduction to OpenSSI, at X: Load Balancing

There are two forms of load balancing built into the system.  First,
incoming network connections can be load balanced using the HA-LVS
capability described in the previous section.
Processes can be load balanced through the load leveling
subsystem, which does exec-time load leveling and process migration

I don't know which form of load balancing that I want. Which form would be the one enabled by the loadlevel -a command? Which do you suggest and why?
