I have just put the english whitepaper about the Festo AirJelly on my
Blog which is the third post about the Festo AirJelly, you all have
probably already seen the video on YouTube that I have uploaded a few
days ago.
But now I was wondering what you think about the AirJelly, especially
it's propulsion system. Is there space for non rotary propulsion ?
Afterall only machines use this kind of propulsion every animal that
either swims or flies uses some kind of propulsion that does not
rotate like a propeller.

Here my three posts, the first one contains the video of the Air Jelly
if you don't know what I am talking about.

This one, being an airship, would be required to fly. The propulsion system is designed based on a Jellyfish - that swims! The video shows the AirJelly being tested indoors but I'd be interested to see what would happen in the wind.

But it would make one superb submarine...
