Does anyone know what  "updateItem" method in
info.jtrac.JTrac is used for? When I updated items
from the web UI (added comment, changed status), I
could only see  method "storeHistoryForItem" being
executed. From the name I would expect that the
updateItem method will be invoked when changes are
made to an Item through the web UI.

PS:I could not locate a JTrac development mailing
list. So I am sending this email to the users list.

updateItem is for the case when a user (with admin role) edits an item (edits summary or detail or values of custom fields).  Yes the name could be improved : ) you can raise a feature request if you like.

A little OT...  Can we use this for development discussions?  I am
interested in developing and am getting adjusted to wickets.

I had a couple of questions in regards to wickets and site layout.
I'm trying to incorporate one of two things.  Wiki documentation or
subversion integration/versioning control.

Joshua:  you can consider being on the Wicket mailing list also, for now since there is relatively low activity on the mailing list, I guess the occasional development related mail does not matter.

Thanks,

Peter.
