Where are libc6-mips64 and libc6-mipsn32 coming from when I debuild sid's eglibc-2.13?

I am starting to look building n32 and n64 ports, and did a mips debuild
sid's eglibc-2.13.

Being new here, I was a bit surprised that this thing is appears to
already be creating n32 and n64 packages.

So: When was this added and who is working on it?

I would like to collaborate and/or facilitate more work in this area.

Thanks,
David Daney
