Which Pocket PC?

Our troop's old Pocket PC (iPaq 3955) gave up its second life on this weekend's campout, and we must find a replacement.

I will defer to the moderator, Ken, if he deems it inappropriate for Scouters to make any recommendations, but would appreciate any suggestions from the group as to what type / model / etc. of handheld they would recommend buying.

I will not use the handheld for anything except for Scouting and Troopmaster Traveler-related work, so nothing so fancy (no phone) is needed.  OS is Windows XP at my place of work (private school).  Need something with a USB interface to work with TMT.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have used PLAM then went to a Dell AXIM.  I now use a DELL MINI there about $300 plus you can run any other PC based software
(I.E. and quartermaster log in excel)  There about twice the size of a Pocket PC, but worth it.

Frank:
Might look into a cheap netbook. They are very cost-competetive with handhelds (ie $200-300) and offer the advantage of more screen real-estate and a closer to full-size keyboard. You could probably run the desktop version of TM on it, too, which could save the additional fee for Traveler if that's what you're using now.
