Which USB WiFi

What is the best usb wifi chipset and OS combination to use to get the slug connected with my wpa encrypted network?  Is there any combination that "just works" when plugged in?  If not, is there a good, definitive guide somewhere?  I've found bits of info all over the web, but nothing seems complete or up to date.

I found my ZD1211 usb wifi stick 'just worked' on my slug running Debian - or at least as easily as described in the DEbian wiki at http://wiki.debian.org/zd1211rw

My wifi stick is a 3Com 3CRUSB10075 and my slug is running Debian Lenny
