Which application server is used by Petals ?Hello,
I create some Bpel Process and Web Services. I deploy them on Petals using soap-bc-component and orchestra-se-component. I wish to know what is the application server used by Petals to execute my BPEL Process and Web Services ? Tomcat ? Glassfish ? Jetty ?... Re: Which application server is used by Petals ?There are no application server inside petals...
The BPEL process is hosted by OW2-orchestra and the we use Axis2 to handle all the Web service stuff. Re: Re: Which application server is used by Petals ?In fact, you can see PEtALS as an alternative of 'tradiltionnal' J2EE
application server to build our applications in a 'service' approach. Sound nice! :-) So as said christophe, there is no deal with application server in PEtALS, We use a SOAP component build on axis2 for all the Web Services and orchestra component for BPEL service. BUT, it is possible to interact with a J2EE server via the EJB component, and expose in PETALS your J2EE application logic as 'services'. That's not what you need there.
