Hi List,

I compiled ST 0.6.8 but the graphical envelope editor doesn't appear.
Did I miss to run a option with the configure ? I don't understand the
message displayed in the Instrument Editor section.

Hi Miroslav,

In the ST website :

"GNOME, available from http://www.gnome.org/. Some features are only
available in this version, such as the graphical instrument envelope
editor. Besides, the program simply looks better with colorful icons in
the menu bar :-)"

I use Fluxbox. With the Ubuntu package of ST, the Graphical instrument
envelope editor is displayed.

Stan.

i am not sure if i really understand, but if you still do not solve your
problem, in such "mad" distors, like debian, redhat and deriv. there are run
time package libs and dev pakcage libs, for example:

mypreferedlib.deborrpmhere and mypreferdlib-dev.deborrpm

so the first one you need to start apps compiled against them, like st in
ubuntu, and the second one you need to compile your program,
esp. check what ./configure founds on your system. i think you have libgnome
but no libgnome-dev

best regards

miroslav
