Window height 1 too small (after splitting)

Dear mailing list members,

Whenever I open a .tex file it is impossible to open pop-up windows (open, insert, save as etc.). This is clearly a problem with the newer versions of auctex. I looked for the old ones but couldn't find anything before 11.81. Any idea that can help me solve the problem?

Thanks,
Yaniv Almog

Is it really necessary to send this in HTML format?

This is likely a bug in XEmacs:

I don't think using old versions is the right way to go, but that's my
personal opinion.

In the email thread I referenced, the XEmacs maintainers seem to have
the opinion that it's a problem of XEmacs.  Why should I doubt them?

Hm, I thought we did provide access for historic versions, but on the
GNU FTP server I cannot find some of them.  Does anybody on the mailing
list know where the versions before 11.81 went?  11.13 and 11.14 are
mentioned in <URL:http://ftp.gnu.org/MISSING-FILES>, but what about the
11.5x packages?
