Hi,

I am new to this list, but not to VNC which I have used extensively over many years.

I have done a search of the mailing and bug lists and not seen this, but please point me in the right direction if I missed it.

I have installed the latest version tightvnc onto a 64-bit windows 7 machine.  I can connect up and all seems to be working fine.  However whenever I try to run something as an administrator, or whenever windows decides it wants an administrator to approve something, I lose all mouse and keyboard interaction until that whole task is completed.  I can see what is happening, but not do anything.  Interestingly, if directly on the computer I take the mouse-focus from the program that is running at elevated privilege I can then regain control in VNC, but just not touch that privileged program.

Is there a way to fix this?

Brian.
