Windows NX client custom screen size?Does anyone know if it is possible to get the windows NX client to
request a screen larger than the primary client monitor? I have a dual-headed system where the 2nd screen is larger and would like to fill it with an NX window. However, even when I configure it to use a custom size, it ends up only filling the available space on the primary (smaller) screen and can't be resized after moving to the larger monitor. -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell@... ________________________________________________________________ Were you helped on this list with your FreeNX problem? Re: Windows NX client custom screen size? Thanks - It was a laptop but I was able to find another one that
permitted the primary screen to be set to a virtual higher resolution and then 'panned' by mouse motion. Doing this temporarily lets NX start with a larger screen that can be moved to the 2nd display. It's clumsy but I don't expect to start these sessions often. Re: Windows NX client custom screen size?Revisiting an old problem. This seems to be fixed in the latest NX
client version that is aware of multiple monitors. Now I am able to set a custom screen size of 1600x1200 to fit the external monitor even though the primary laptop screen is smaller than that.
