Hello evince team!

I have a problem with opening pdf and djvu files in windows vista. I get returned

"Unable to open document
File type Text Document (text/plain) is not supported"

Is it a matter of dependencies? Do I need to have sth else installed or sth different? I instaled the package that you offer and there seemed to be no problem but I am not able to open any pdf or djvu file. I also tried it on a different pc with windows XP and got the same problem.

You should not need to install any dependencies, they are all included
in the installer.

Maybe the problem is with the MIME types that are not set up at all by evince.
Do you have Acrobat Reader installed? If not, please try installing
Acrobat Reader, it will set up the MIME type for pdf. Then try again
to open a pdf document (after restarting your Windows).

For me pdf files work, but dvju files do not.
