Working to a 4.70 releaseI've gone through all the non-wishlist bugs that are currently active.
Some require significant work - which I am not in a position to perform, so I have left those. However I have hit all the low hanging fruit. Things that could now be done:- - add changebars into the documentation - which is pretty much a case of looking at a diff of the spec file from just after 4.69 to now. - test suite. I've never got it work work right on my systems so am not chasing it myself. - There are a few bugs I have commented up - if someone wishes to make a definite decision on them. Other than that I think the VCS version should be close to releasable, so testing on this would be good. Then going to a release... I would really like to see http://bugs.exim.org/show_bug.cgi?id=896 fixed in the release. cu andreas -- ## List details at http://lists.exim.org/mailman/listinfo/exim-dev Exim details at http://www.exim.org/ ## |

For the avoidance of doubt, the dwmw2's git repository is not a real-time reflection of the primary CVS repo. I'm unsure how frequently it syncs. Sorry - this is a nasty side effect of how Bugzilla displays stuff - if you are working through a list it often has a bug number at the top, and then a "next bug is ..." section, and I pick the wrong one up.... I've added changebars to the docs - in a slightly rough and ready way, and updated the dates on them. The primary author is still Philip - and he did write 95% or more of it. However he is not now the primary person responsible for maintenance. I'm inclined to leave Philip's name as primary author unless someone has a good alternative suggestion...
