Wpi and hostap mode

Hi,

wpi(4) doesn't support hostap mode. Is this is hardware, firmware or driver
issue?
I've glanced at the linux code, but see no mention of hostap there either.

Although it seems hard to support the hostap mode, would there be IBSS
mode support in the future?

Hmm, so since "patches are welcome" leads me to believe the firmware and
hardware are capable.
