Hi,
I have power dns and powerdns recursor setup in out dmz at the moment, and am having one major issue with it - one record in particular - for the mailserver. i have its dmz IP entered into our zone, and also the in-addr.arpa zone. However, when pinging this or trying to browse to it, the external IP is pulled from somewhere, hence it will not ping or browse to it.
I have removed the dns database, and recreated, removed powerdns, and the recursor, and wiped the box, and tried again from scratch, but the problem remains.
I am using Fedora 10, and mysql, along with power admin as a front end for powerdns and power dns recursor.
Can you help please?
