XMLBeans/C++ ??

In Jira I found XMLBeans/C++ project under Incubator category, but
XMLBeans project seems to be only Java bindings. Is the C++ variant dead, or is it some effort that never got going? The Jira project contained a single issue, which is actually just a non-issue ("all the best"), and the ACL was not set up, so I deleted the project. Objections and I'll put it back. From my knowledge, the XMLBeans/C++ port entered the incubator but failed to
get traction, and it was closed quite some time ago. I don't think anybody will be missing the Jira category. Just to mention, TouK is gathering developers community for xmlbeansxx
(an initial XmlBeans C++ code base). If there will be sufficient interest, we are going to resubmit proposal and continue at Apache.
