I know, and certainly will tell me not to post here, but as this post is
related to my current work PEAR2/Net_Growl [1], I think I can do it.
On my road to rewrite PEAR2/Net_Growl from scratch to use PHP 5.3
features, I've already implemented
in version 0.1.0
- the GNTP and UDP protocols plus a composite adapter.
incoming version 0.2.0 will
- add a smtp adapter with SwiftMailer client
- add a xmpp adapter with XMPPHP client
Reason of this post is to share problem I got, while I do some test with
my gmail account on gtalk.
First try I took the pearified version of Christian [3] that won't work.
It's not his fault but due to issues [4],[5] opened.
So, reading comment I found a contributor with its fork [6] running.
Then I'm glad to announce that PEAR2/Net_Growl 0.2.0 will support also
SMTP and XMPP adapters.
