It was very good to receive your email. I would have replied sooner but I have been out of Santa Fe in a part of New Mexico that does not wireless. I think I can speak for most of us at the Complex when I say we are pleased to be involved with your project. Tomorrow there is a meeting of our art group and I plan to discuss your project at that time.

Your characterization of the project goals seem accurate to me but I think Fabio is the person to best describe what you should be doing.

Please feel free to contact me at any time. There are also other people at the Complex who might be better equipped to provide the assistance you need. As the situation arises I will refer your questions or request for assistance to the appropriate individual.

The project is wonderful and I will help in whatever way I can. I don't have specific materials to send you at this time but maybe the individuals copied in this email will want to respond to your request. Mr. Orlando Leibovitz,

We were delighted to be given the opportunity to work with the Santa Fe Complex on the project of implementing art installations throughout the city of Venice.  The project team consists of four third-year Worcester Polytechnic Institute engineering students, Amanda Rinaldi, Daniel Savastano, Lisa Rossi, and William Early.  It is our understanding that the goal of this project is to integrate art installations throughout the city of Venice for the purpose of highlighting pressing issues in Venice through the five senses and the sixth sense of intuition. Please advise if we have identified the goals accurately.

Over the course of the next month, we plan to research the context of this issue and identify the objectives that our project should satisfy.  We also plan to develop a methodology for implementing the project, culminating in a project proposal that we shall then use as a basis for the actual project.  We request that you grant us permission to contact you during this preparation period for any clarifications that we may need and that you inform us as to your preferred means of communication.  As we develop our methodology and proposal, access to related resources such as databases, maps, or other materials will allow us to do a more thorough job.  If you have or are aware of any materials that you believe will assist the project planning process, we would appreciate it if you could send them to us or direct us to these sources.
