Hi,

The export-functionality of daisy doesn't work for me because i have to many documents (+2M).  There is not enough memory to allocate to the repository-server so that the export works.  I was wondering if an other way might work : copy de databases en copy de data-dir and put this on an other server.  What do you think about this.  Will the work.  The other repository is a new repository, the existing documents don't have to be saved.

My second question is about upgrading.  I work with 2.0.1 of daisy and i was wondering if i would be able to upgrade if i have +2M documents in my repository.  If you use in some way daisy to query all the documents during the upgrade it obviosly will not work.  Can you assure me that the upgrade will work.  Does it only use sql-sripts?

Yes, simply copying the data will work, and is even better since
import/export does not create an exact copy of the data (it does not
preserve history, timestamps, etc.)

You can find a description of the procedure here:

Yes, it only uses SQL.
