applications page contactHello,
Is the email address listed on the applications page (jackaudio@...) still valid for application inclusion requests? I don't want to rush anyone, but I would like to know if my request was swallowed by a black hole, or if it will eventually be processed. Thanks, -- Devin Anderson devin (at) charityfinders (dot) com synthclone - http://synthclone.googlecode.com/ _______________________________________________ Jack-Devel mailing list Jack-Devel@... http://lists.jackaudio.org/listinfo.cgi/jack-devel-jackaudio.org |

When I said I didn't want to rush anyone, I was still hoping that someone would let me know if the request would eventually be processed. -- Devin Anderson devin (at) charityfinders (dot) com synthclone - http://synthclone.googlecode.com/ _______________________________________________ Jack-Devel mailing list Jack-Devel@... http://lists.jackaudio.org/listinfo.cgi/jack-devel-jackaudio.org |

Here's the message I sent to 'jackaudio@...': I've written and released an application called `synthclone` that uses JACK for audio processing. It's _very_ new, but usable. The project page can be found at: http://synthclone.googlecode.com/ I'd like to have it included in the JACK application directory. I think the "Utilities" header is the best fit, but if you think another header is more appropriate, then go ahead and put it under that header. Here's a short description (copied from the project page): synthclone is a GTK-based application that works with the JACK Audio Connection Kit to "clone" your MIDI-capable instruments. It does this by sending out MIDI data that instructs an instrument to emit sounds for a series of notes and velocities. It then saves this data in a format that can be understood by sampler software. Thanks for your help, -- Devin Anderson devin (at) charityfinders (dot) com synthclone - http://synthclone.googlecode.com/ _______________________________________________ Jack-Devel mailing list Jack-Devel@... http://lists.jackaudio.org/listinfo.cgi/jack-devel-jackaudio.org |
