audition object and freeze not working

Hi Steven,

I have just noticed that the "freeze" and "audition selected objects" commands is not functioning as expected for me. I get no errors but the freezed object is silent (as is the audio freeze file that is created). Similarly when using the audition command no sound is outputted.

This is with the api disabled.

I am using csound64 for non-realtime rendering and csound float for real time.

Many Thanks
Peiman

Hi Peiman,

Could you maybe send me a copy of the .blue project you're working on?
I'm wondering if the graph of instruments/mixer/etc. is done in a way
that won't work with audition/freezing. Have you successfully froze or
auditioned with this project before?

Thanks!
steven

Hi Steven,

Now that you mention it makes sense. I totally forgot that I had implemented the instruments so that they are not exactly self contained. Thanks for replying, I will look into it to try and make them freezable.

Many Thanks
