beginner and new in this list

first i want to say i am very please to join this list
i am just trying to use mtasc 
which is by chance runnable on linux
thank very much to his developper
i have  try to compile examples given in  red5 package but  i cant because i dont  have the mx classes
how i can find it without loading flash packages which is only for windows

You could download free Flex express edition package from Adobes site.
You will have to enter your email address but I guess that ain't a big
problem. Mx intrinsic classes are in that package under
frameworks/source. Then just copy that mx directory (package) somewhere
so that mtasc finds it or add it to the class path.
