Hi list,
I just released version 1.0.0 of berkano-util. It's been untouched for
a while, thus supposedly stable enough.
The release is available on the codehaus maven repository, and should
be mirrored to the main maven repository soon.
Please update your dependencies and let me know if there's any issue.
I will soon go through this module and deprecate/remove unused or
irrelevant stuff :
* the cache package will most likely be the 1st victim
* I'm not sure about the hibernate package (the XStreamType is
useful but irrelevant to berkano: any suggestions? And I guess there
must be built-in support for java5 enums in hibernate by now (can
anybody confirm? At least on their wiki there's a couple of similar
contributions))
* the webwork package: the ModelUrlBuilder was kind of a hack to go
around limitations of webwork some time ago. Hopefully that's not
needed anymore? Or maybe it could be generalized to be useful outside
the context of webwork ? The WebworkMailLocalizer is trivial to
reimplement in any project that'd need it. (or might be moved to the
berkano-user-mgt-webwork package?)
