best way of searching user on caldav

Hi group,

I was just wondering the best way of searching a user on CalDav,

currently I am using a LDAP python script to search a user,

Is, there any protocol that caldav has described which I can use to search the users in directory for which calendaring has been enabled,

You can query the principals collection. Its described in the WebDAV  
ACL spec (RFC 3744).
