branching for 1.2.3?

Hi,

I was wondering when a good time would be to move 1.2.x to a branch  
and start planning for development on 1.3. Any thoughts?

Maybe after 1.2.3 is released? There are still a couple of things I'd like
to see fixed in the 1.2.x series (s.a. index config and repo scanning
issues, xmlrpc bugs) before moving development over to 1.3 :)
