broke G1 rack - help!

Already checked the fuse?
Looks like a power problem to me.
You can always take a look inside if all cables are still connected.

I haven't heard of it, so not very known.
Talk to Clavia, they'll tell you if they know what the problem is.

all,

my G1 rack just broke!  when it turns on the LCD is blank and it doesn't
seem to response to midi and the editor doesn't see it.  is this a known
problems?  can i fix this myself (i have basic repair skills)?

Hi Deno,

I just received a G1 Key I had bought and had the same problem.

During transport the Modular has been moved quite a bit (so it seems), and
when switching on, I only had the lighted display and no more reaction.

On opening the machine I found, that the Integrated Circuit (IC) which
contains
the Operating System hat come loose. I only had to push it back into its
place and everything was great.  If you can solve your problem like this,
take care that the pins (legs) from the IC are straightened and go all (!!!)
into the socket.

it powers up, just doesn't do anything after that.
