Hi all,

I've recently submitted a patch for the buildnumber plugin:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MOJO-1432

This plugin doesn't seem to have much recent activity in JIRA or the forum.
Is it being actively maintained?

Cheers,
Tomas

Maybe it's just my impression, but with few rare exceptions all (apache and codehaus mojo's) maven plugins development seems to be stale for some time, as if everyone is working on Maven 3.

Regards,
Stevo.

most of the work at the moment is on ensuring that the existing plugins have good integration tests so that we can ensure that they perform the same for 2.x and 3.x

adding new features which do not include invoker based positive and negative tests will take a back seat IMHO

if you can ensure that your patch (which I have not looked at) has ITs you stand a better chance

Then hopefully this issue will be in front seat now.

Stevo.
