can i create 1400 nodes?

i want to create 1400 nodes in Ns2.
but getting following error.

/Downloads/comnet$ ns multi_sourcevbr.tcl
unable to alloc 2400 bytes
bikahs@bikahs-laptop:~/Downloads/comnet$
