can project root be different from working copy root?

Hello everybody,

I have a project that is located "within" a working copy, i.e. not at
the working copy root:

workingcopy/project1
workingcopy/project2
workingcopy/common
workingcopy/specsanddocs

Can I make this setup work in Subclipse? It seems that Subclipse only
finds the Subversion information if the project (root) IS a working copy...

Of course I *could* make separate working copies for each project, but
that would have serious disadvantages and I really don't want to :-(

I appreciate any help!

Holger

Provided that project1 is the root of the Eclipse project, that works
fine.  That is how I manage my working copy for Subclipse development.

Thanks for the fast answer.
This has miraculously cured itself :-)
I don't know what happened, the decorators are now present after I'd
tried everything to make them appear before posting...

However, maybe it's still worth investigating why I had problems?

I think I did things "backwards":
First, I created my "project from existing source".
Second, I installed Subclipse.
Third, I added the repository location.

Then, no icons. I tried refreshing and cleaning the project, even closed
and restarted Eclipse. Still, no icons.

I checked out "project1" into a new project and it immediately had the
decorators. My existing project still didn't have them.
Another Eclipse restart. Nothing.

Then I posted to the mailing list :-)

After posting, I did some other stuff, not even involving Eclipse.

Now I go back to Eclipse and voilĂ , there they are... Oh well... What
could I have done differently before?

Thanks,

Holger
