can this compile on vs2008 or notI downloaded octave source and was wading through all the instructions
in the readme.mvsvc file. I got stuck on the file glob library and couldn't find it. So in searching for that I found this post: http://www.nabble.com/Configure-liboctave-for-MSVC-...-td24008999.html# > All the information contained in that readme file has been made obsolete > when the support for octave MSVC binaries was dropped. It would be very nice if you would correct all references to this. The readme.msvc file is still there. _______________________________________________ Bug-octave mailing list Bug-octave@... https://www-old.cae.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/bug-octave |

Certainly readme.msvc is still on the source package and the some of information is too old. I think it should be removed from source tar ball. Of course, if Michael will update README.MSVC, it will be desirable than be removed. Regards Tatsuro -------------------------------------- Power up the Internet with Yahoo! To be honest, I have no plan to update it. It's now unsupported and should be removed to avoid confusing users.
